America II Signs on as Official Sponsor for St. Petersburg Bowl

Leading Semiconductor Distributor Becomes Newest Sponsor

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (October 7, 2014) - The St. Petersburg Bowl has announced today that America II Electronics, Inc., one of the world's largest distributors of semiconductors and electronic components, will be an official sponsor. As part of its sponsorship, America II will be represented during the game's official welcome press conference and reception for the schools participating in the Bowl. The event will be held at the Hotel Zamora on St. Pete Beach on Thursday, Dec. 11 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. EST. "We are excited to have an international company based in St. Petersburg joining our family of corporate sponsors," said Brett Dulaney, Executive Director, St. Petersburg Bowl. "Our Team Welcome event has evolved to be a very special and entertaining evening for the teams and our board members and having America II involved will allow us to continue to enhance the event." "America II is delighted to be part of the St. Petersburg Bowl," said Michael Galinski, CEO and founder, America II Electronics. "This is about so much more than college football. This sponsorship is part of America II's ongoing commitment to support our community. It's about promoting the St. Petersburg area with the goal of strengthening our local economy." Headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida, America II Electronics is an active sponsor for local events. The company is currently the title sponsor for America II Corporate SportsFest and America II Extreme Mud Wars, held on St. Pete Beach and historic Downtown St. Petersburg respectively. Working with ESPN Events allows the company to continue its support for local events in the St. Petersburg community. The 2014 St. Petersburg Bowl game takes place on Friday, December 26 at 8:00 p.m. EST and is in its first year of new conference affiliation with the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and the American Athletic Conference (AAC).
