Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl St. Petersburg Donates Game Tickets for Active Military Based at MacDill

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (December 14, 2012)- As a recognition of the great contribution that the active military does for our country, the Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl St. Petersburg will be providing 300 tickets for military members based at Tampa’s MacDill Air Force Base.  This year’s game features UCF and Ball State on Friday, Dec. 21 at 7:30 p.m. ET at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. The game, owned and operated by ESPN Regional Television (ERT), will air on ESPN and ESPN Radio. The Bowl is also providing the opportunity for MacDill military, civilians, and family members to participate as volunteers with the Bowl for the third consecutive year. Coordinating the efforts between MacDill and the Bowl has been Major Shane Huff, Chief of Public Affairs, 927th Air Refueling Wing. “The donation of tickets is a generous gesture of support and appreciation for our uniformed services,” said Huff.  “We have helped the past two years with providing volunteers and interest is high in participating in this event again this year.” “We are forever indebted to these courageous men and women of the military,” said Brett Dulaney, Executive Director of the Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl St. Petersburg.  “Major Shane Huff has been a tremendous help in coordinating our efforts with MacDill Air Force Base to provide tickets and the opportunity for volunteers be involved with our event.” Tickets for the 2012 Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl St. Petersburg are on sale now and start as low as just $35.
