ESPN & ESPN Radio Announcers Set for 2012 Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl St. Petersburg

Two Heisman Trophy Winners Featured as Part of Telecast

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (December 3, 2012) - The 2012 Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl St. Petersburg will have the ESPN announce team of Dave Neal, Desmond Howard and Andre Ware, along with Cara Capuano on the sidelines.  UCF from Conference USA will face Ball State from the Mid-American Conference at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., on Friday, Dec. 21 at 7:30 p.m. ET, in the fifth edition of the Bowl which is owned and operated by ESPN Regional Television (ERT), a subsidiary of ESPN. In addition, the 2012 Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl St. Petersburg can be heard nationally on ESPN Radio with Clay Matvick calling the play-by-play, Matt Stinchcomb handling the analysis and Allison Williams reporting from the sidelines. "I'm thrilled with the on-air team ESPN has assigned," said Brett Dulaney, Executive Director of the Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl St. Petersburg. "The first thought I had when I received the news is that we'll have three Heisman Trophy winners with us during Bowl Week with Danny Wuerffel serving as our kickoff luncheon keynote speaker and Desmond Howard and Andre Ware as the TV analysts."
