Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl Scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 23
Kickoff set for 7 p.m. ET at Raymond James Stadium
Tampa, Fla. – This year’s edition of the Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl will be played on Thursday, Dec. 23, with a 7 p.m. ET kickoff at Raymond James Stadium. The 2021 game will be the bowl’s eighth prime time kickoff since its inception in 2008. The game, which is owned and operated by ESPN Events, will air on ESPN.
“We look forward to hosting a prime time game at Raymond James Stadium, one of the best venues in the country which over the past few months hosted two of the biggest annual worldwide sporting events – the Super Bowl and Wrestlemania,” said Scott Glaser, executive director of the Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl. “Our bowl staff and committee members are looking forward to getting back to putting on a fantastic bowl experience for teams and fans that showcases not only a terrific game day experience at our stadium, but also all the special offerings of the Tampa Bay area.”
With the game being just one day prior to Christmas Eve, the bowl will be offering local businesses and groups a great opportunity to host unique holiday parties that can include special pre-game tailgate parties and prime suite and stadium seating options.
